Bushwalking
Many excellent walking tracks are located nearby.   We can point you in the right direction.  Walks are available from "Concertos", or if you wish to drive, we can guide you to many superb nature walk areas.  See flora & fauna, wildlife, water, birdlife, and more.

The Lakes and wilderness region offers home to quite a few artists and thier galleries.  Some are known internationally.  For that unusual day when the sun may not be shining, take a drive to see "Glass Blowing", "Oil & Water Color Artists", "Fine Ceramic Artists", and "Woodcraft Artists"
Music
In-house digital grand piano is available for guests to tinker on.
One of the "Concertos" hosts, Greg, has been a professional musician for over 20 years and is always happy to perform that special request or memory.  Greg performs live at 'Miriams' restaurant in Lakes Entrance each Saturday night as a one-man band playing songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.   The instrumental CD by Greg called 'Concertos by the Lake' - Trax 2 Relax 2, is available for guests to hear in their suites. 
Parasailing
Adventure and exitement over the Gippsland Lakes with lake and ocean views.  No experience necessary.  Tandem rides available. Fly 100 metres over the water.  Seasonal.
Rubeena cruise on Lake Tyers
Buchan Caves
The Caves, first explored by Europeans in the early 1900s, are a spectacular underground world of color and enchantment.  Dating back 300-400 million years, they contain spectaculer formations made by ancient rivers coursing and seeping through the limestone rock.
Cave tours operate daily.
Bairnsdale Clocks
An amazing collection of antiques and clocks from around the world.
The largest range we have seen. Also old gramaphones, dictaphones, pianos, music boxes, and more clocks. A fascinating display.
Snowy River Hovercraft
The only commercial hovercraft in Victoria.   The Snowy River at Orbost (30 min from Lakes Entrance) is ideal for this fun machine.
Take a picnic lunch and go for 1/2 a day, or enjoy it for an hour.  The hovercraft glides on air, never touching the sand or water, yet easliy coasts along the 'Snowy' and up through the gorge.
